How does billing work?

Monthly subscribers are billed once per month. Yearly subscribers are billed once per year at a discounted rate. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
Will I be charged immediately when I tap Renew?
+
No. Tapping Renew re-enables auto-renewal on your existing subscription. You will not be charged until your next scheduled billing date.
Where is the Renew button?
+
After you cancel, a green Renew button appears on your active plan card on the Membership page. Open the sidebar, go to Membership, and you will see it on your plan.
Does renewing restart my billing period?
+
No. Renewing undoes the cancellation and keeps your existing billing cycle. Your next charge date stays the same.
Will I be charged again after cancelling?
+
No. Once you cancel, you will not be charged again. Your benefits stay active until the end of your current billing period, then stop.
When does my next charge happen after renewing?
+
Your next charge happens on your regular billing date, the same date it would have been before you cancelled. Renewing does not trigger an immediate charge.
Can I renew after my billing period ends?
+
If your billing period has already ended, the Renew button will no longer be available. You can start a new subscription from the Membership page instead.
Does tapping Renew twice cause a double charge?
+
No. Tapping Renew simply re-enables auto-renewal. Tapping it again has no additional effect and will not cause extra charges.
Can I update my payment card?
+
Yes. On the Membership page, tap Manage on your active plan, then look for the option to update your payment method. This opens a secure portal where you can enter new card details.
Is there a prorated refund if I cancel mid-period?
+
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then, and no partial refund is issued since you retain the full period you paid for.
Can I get a refund?
+
Refunds are not available. Every conversation, image, and video uses real compute resources that are consumed instantly. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges, and you keep full access until your billing period ends.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
+
Yes. You can switch plans from the Membership page. Any prorated amount is calculated automatically when the change is confirmed.
Can I downgrade instead of cancelling?
+
Yes. You can switch from Unlimited to Basic (or vice versa) from the Membership page without cancelling. Go to Membership, and select the plan you want to switch to.
Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?
+
Yes. You can pause your subscription for up to 90 days. On the Membership page, tap Manage on your active plan to find the pause option. After the pause period, billing resumes automatically.
Where can I see my current billing period and renewal date?
+
Your active plan card on the Membership page shows your plan name, billing cycle, and when it renews or ends. If you have cancelled, it shows the date your benefits expire.
What happens if my payment fails on renewal?
+
If a payment fails, you will see a notification on the Membership page. Your access may be interrupted until the payment is resolved. Update your card or contact

Will I get a final bill after my period ends?
+
No. After cancellation, no further charges are made once your billing period ends.
Does renewal restore auto-renewal?
+
Yes. When you tap Renew, auto-renewal is re-enabled. Your subscription will continue renewing at each billing cycle until you cancel again.

Is there a grace period after my billing period ends?
+
No. Premium features end when your billing period expires. Your companions and settings are preserved, but features revert to free-tier limits.
Will my data be deleted if I cancel?
+
Your companions and settings are preserved, but you may temporarily lose access to some companion chats, and some images or memories may be removed when your plan expires. Save anything important before your billing period ends.
Can I export my data before cancelling?
+
You can download your conversation history from each chat's settings, and save your images and videos individually. There is no one-click export for everything.
